A retro globe lantern for gate posts and pillars
A classic post lantern: an aluminium base carrying a clear glass globe, in black or bronze, giving a soft even pool of light rather than a hard beam. Three sizes - 7.1 x 13 in, 8.7 x 15 in and 10.6 x 18.5 in - so it can be matched to the pillar it sits on. It takes a standard E27 screw bulb, which means you choose the brightness and colour and can change it in seconds. Bulb not included. Aluminium is rust-resistant and light, 2.20 to 4.41 lb depending on size. Hardwired at 110-220V on a wall switch, rated IP54.
Highlights
- Standard E27 bulb — Any E27 LED or energy-saving bulb fits, so brightness and colour temperature are yours to choose and a bulb change takes seconds. Bulb not included.
- Three pillar sizes — 7.1 x 13 in, 8.7 x 15 in and 10.6 x 18.5 in - matched to the width of the post rather than one size forced onto every pillar.
- Black or bronze — Black for a quieter modern entrance, bronze for a traditional or period exterior.
- Clear glass globe — A soft, even spread of light in every direction instead of a single downward cone.
- Aluminium, rust-resistant — Light enough to mount easily at 2.20-4.41 lb, and it will not rust. Rated IP54 for sheltered positions such as covered gateways and eaves.

The copper base and globe glass look so timeless on our brick entry pillars!
Light is an unique item. Nice design. Gives off a good amount of of light. Good value considering what you would pay for an ordinary outdoor light. Happy with product.
Really substantial weight and rich copper finish that looks high-end. The IP54 weather rating has kept out heavy rain fine, though wiping down the round glass globe every few weeks is needed to keep water spots from showing.
Premium solid copper construction, beautiful classic globe silhouette, and great weather resistance!
